On-Site Key Fob Replacement for Most Makes and Models
A dead fob locks you out of a car that has nothing else wrong with it. We come to the car, replace or reprogram the fob and test every button before we leave, so there is no tow and no dealer appointment. Most makes sold in the Lehigh Valley are covered.

What is a Key Fob?
A key fob is the remote that locks and unlocks the doors and, on push-button cars, lets the engine start. It talks to the car by radio, and the car only answers fobs that have been programmed to it. That programming is why a fob bought online rarely works out of the box.
When a Fob Needs Replacing
Fobs fail in a handful of ways, and we see all of them:
- Lost fob: Push-button cars often have no key slot to fall back on. We program a new fob at the car, even if every fob is gone.
- Broken fob: Dropped, run through the wash or cracked around the case. If the board inside is fine we can move it to a new shell; if not, we replace it.
- Fob that stopped responding: Sometimes the fob has lost its pairing with the car. Reprogramming often brings it back without a new fob.
- Dead battery: The most common cause of all, so we check it first. A new battery takes two minutes and may be all you need.

Our Key Fob Replacement Services
Our key fob services cover most makes and models:
- Replacement: We stock fobs for most domestic and import makes and pair the new one to your car’s immobilizer and remote system.
- Programming: The fob has to be matched to the car with the right equipment. Ours rides in the van, so the work happens where the car is parked.
- Emergency fob service: Locked out because the fob quit? We open the car first, then deal with the fob. Call for immediate response.
Repair: A loose battery contact or a worn button can often be fixed rather than replaced. We look before we quote a new fob.
How Does Key Fob Replacement Work?
- Step 1: The call. Tell us the year, make and model and what the fob does. We go over our pricing structure and give you an estimated time of arrival.
- Step 2: The check. At the car we test the battery and the fob before anything is replaced. We confirm lawful possession of the car as part of the job.
- Step 3: Programming. The new or repaired fob is paired to the car so the doors, trunk and ignition all respond to it.
- Step 4: Testing. Every button gets pressed, and on a push-button car we start the engine before we pack up.

Why Choose Our Key Fob Replacement Service?
- Mobile service: We come to your driveway, your workplace or the roadside. The car stays put.
- Fast response: You get an estimated time of arrival on the phone, and most fob jobs are finished in one visit.
- Experienced locksmiths: We program fobs every week across most makes, including push-button and rolling-code systems.
- The whole job: Batteries, shells, repairs, replacements and programming, so the remote works again however it failed.
- Clear Pricing: We explain our pricing structure on the phone before we drive out. There is no extra charge for an emergency.
