Can you make a car key if I’ve lost every key?
Yes. Most of the replacement car keys we make start with no original. We take the cuts from the lock or the key code, then program the key to the car.
What do I have to show before you make a key?
A driver’s license and a document tying you to the vehicle, such as the registration, title or insurance card.
Will unlocking my car damage it?
No. We use tools made for opening vehicles, so the door, the glass and the weather seal are left as they were.
My key turns but the car won’t start. Is it the key or the ignition?
It can be either. A chip key that has lost its programming will turn and not start, and a worn ignition can do the same. We test the key first because it’s the simpler fix.
Can you program a key fob I bought online?
Sometimes. Many aftermarket fobs won’t program or fail early. Tell us what you bought and we’ll say if it’s worth trying.
Do you work on motorcycles and trucks?
