Lost/stolen Car Key Replacement

If your key has gone missing or was stolen, we have a replacement car key in stock and we are ready to replace that missing car key. An extra layer of security has been added to all Mitsubishi models made after 1998. This extra layer is called the immobilizer. This allows the car to communicate with a special chip that is located inside your car key.  The key will have to respond with the recognized code or the car will fail to start, even if the key turns in the ignition.

To prevent anyone from being able to use your lost or stolen car key, we can erase the old key when we program a new car key for you.  An additional layer of security can be added if desired by changing the wafers that are located inside the door locks. The lost key will no longer be able to turn in the locks.
