Lost the key? A locksmith who comes to you is usually simpler than a tow to a Toyota dealer. Tell us the model and year and we’ll bring the matching key.
Some early Scions use a key with no chip. Most later ones have a transponder, and a few have push-button start. The year tells us which. Blades on newer Scions are laser cut, and we carry the machine for that.
Lost or Stolen Scion Keys
With no key to copy, we cut a new one from the lock or the key code. If the car has an immobilizer, we program the chip so the security light goes off and the engine starts.
On chip-key models, a lost or stolen key can be erased while we program the new one. On any Scion we can rekey the door locks to shut the old blade out.
Broken Scion Keys
Please don’t throw away a broken key. The pieces let us copy the cuts without decoding the lock. If the blade broke off in the door or ignition, we remove it and then make the key.

No. We cut and program the key where the car is parked, so it stays where it is.
What if the Scion key is in the car and the doors are locked?
