Mack trucks are assembled here in the Lehigh Valley, so we see a lot of them. When a Mack key is lost or broken, we drive to the truck and cut a new one on site. That goes for the Granite, the Pinnacle and the Anthem, and for older CH and CX models.
Have the model and year handy when you phone. Most Mack keys are plain metal and cut to a code. If yours is a newer truck with a chip in the key, we’ll cover programming on the phone before we come out. Other vehicles we make keys for are on the car key replacement page.
Lost or Stolen Mack Keys
With no key in hand, we read the ignition or door lock, or use the key code, and cut a replacement at the truck.
A stolen key is best handled by rekeying. We set the ignition and door locks to a new cut, so the old key stops fitting. If the truck has an electronic immobilizer, the missing key can be cleared from it as well.
Broken Mack Keys
Keys break in cold weather, in stiff ignitions and under heavy key rings. Save the pieces and we’ll copy them. If the blade is stuck in the ignition, don’t force the switch. We extract it and then cut the new key.
