Lock Your Keys In Your Car at Leaser Lake?

As the weather in the Lehigh Valley approaches it’s yearly best, we can’t wait to get to some of the myriad local parks to enjoy their beauty.

One of our favorites is Leaser Lake located at 8502 Pleasure Court in New Tripoli, PA .

This 540 acre park is owned in part by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and in part by Lehigh County.

It is named after Frederick Leaser, an American patriot who transported the Liberty Bell from Philadelphia to Allentown in 1777 for protection during the Revolutionary War. His home was in the area that is currently Lynn Township.

Our experience with the lake has always been pleasant. Those who visit are mostly respectful and there always seems to be enough space on the lake to kayak or enjoy yourself.

If you get locked out on Leaser Lake, or anywhere else in the Lehigh Valley, be sure to give us a call and we’ll come get you out of a jam!

Tips for Taking Care of Your Keys

You don’t really care about your keys until you can’t find them or can’t use them because they are damaged or broken.

Here are some tips for taking care of those keys!

1. Up Your Security

Car keys are one of the first things that a burglar will target in someone’s house. Do you have a safe place to store them that isn’t inside a basket or on a hook in the front door? It’s a good idea to keep them in the same place each and every night. Not only will it make it harder for you to forget them, but you’ll also have peace of mind knowing that they are safe.

2. Make Sure You Have a Spare?

Having a spare key is a great idea, and one that some people tend not to undertake. Have a spare key hidden somewhere on your property that isn’t under a flowerpot in your front yard. Also, it’s smart to give a spare key to a relative or loved one if you are locked out or if an emergency arises.

3. Inspect Your Keys From Time to Time

Keys may seem sturdy, and most are, but they can easily bend or break like anything that’s used on a daily basis. If you notice a bit of a bend on your keys or they aren’t turning like they used to, it’s time to give us a call.

4. Did We Mention Security?

Treat your keys like you do your wallet. Make sure that they aren’t visible when you go out and make sure that you keep them in a safe and secure place on your person. If you do know that your keys have been stolen or lost, we’re here for you.

2. Got a Spare?
