Audi Key Replacement Without the Trip to the Dealer
Audi keys are some of the more involved keys on the road, and we work on them from a mobile van. Call with the year, make and model for pricing and availability, and you’ll have that answer before anyone drives out. It’s part of our car key replacement work across the Lehigh Valley.
For the models we cover, the job is done where the car sits. No flatbed, and no leaving the car at a service department for days.
Audi has used laser-cut blades for decades. The key has a wavy track milled into its face instead of teeth along the edge. Cutting one takes a high-security machine, and ours rides in the van.
The blade is only half of it. Every modern Audi key also carries a chip that has to be matched to the car’s immobilizer. We program the chip after cutting, then check that the car starts and the remote buttons respond.
Flip keys and newer keyless fobs each program a little differently. If your remote has stopped locking the doors but the car still starts, the fix may be smaller than a full replacement. Our key fob page covers that.

Lost or Stolen Audi Keys
Losing the only key to an Audi is the hardest case, since there is nothing to copy. We cut the new blade from the key code or from the lock itself. You’ll need to show a driver’s license plus the registration, title or insurance card for the car.
A stolen key is a security problem as much as an inconvenience. During programming we can remove the missing key from the car’s list of accepted keys, so it won’t start the engine again.
The blade of that old key would still open the door by hand. If that worries you, we can rekey the door lock to a new cut.
Broken Audi Keys
Flip keys tend to fail at the hinge, and the blade can snap off at the base. Save both halves. The cuts on the broken blade are usually enough for us to make the new one without decoding the lock.
Ready to go ahead? Call (484) 891-1922, tell us where the Audi is parked, and we’ll give you an estimated time of arrival along with the pricing. We cover Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton, plus towns such as Macungie and Center Valley.
