Toyota Key Replacement in Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton

Toyota keys are some of the most common ones we make. Camry, Corolla, RAV4, Tacoma, Highlander, Prius, Sienna: we carry keys and fobs for most of them and cut them at your car. See the full list of makes on our car key replacement page.

You don’t need a tow to the dealer. A locksmith comes to your driveway or parking spot with everything on board.

Many newer Toyota vehicles use a high-security key. The blade is flat on the edges and has a track milled into each side. It takes a specialized cutter to make one.

That cutter is in our van, next to the programmer that pairs a key or smart fob to the car. Cutting and programming happen in the same visit.

Lost or Stolen Toyota Keys

Most Toyotas since the late 1990s have an immobilizer. A chip in the key answers the car with a code, and the engine stays off if the code is wrong. When every key is lost, we cut a new one from the lock or key code and register its chip with the car.

We can erase the old keys in the process. A lost or stolen key then won’t start the car. If you want it locked out of the doors as well, we rekey the locks by changing the wafers.

Broken Toyota Keys

Toyota keys often crack at the plastic head, and the chip inside can fall out. If the car cranks and won’t start after a key breaks, a lost chip is the usual reason. Bring all the pieces and we’ll copy the blade and check the chip.

If part of the blade is still in the ignition or the door, we remove it on site.

Then we cut the new key from the pieces or from the lock.

Call (484) 891-1922 with the year, make and model of your Toyota for pricing and availability. We’ll give an estimated arrival time, with no extra charge for an emergency.

Smart Keys and Push-Button Start

A lot of current Toyotas don’t use a blade to start at all.

If you drive a Corolla, a Camry, a RAV4 or another model with push-button start, the fob has to be programmed to the car and its hidden emergency blade has to be cut.

We do both. If only the remote buttons have stopped working, read our key fob replacement page first. We serve Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton and towns like Whitehall and Nazareth.
