Commercial lock installation in the Lehigh Valley
The locks on a business take more use in a month than a house lock sees in a year. When one fails, or when the building changes hands, new hardware is the fix. We install locks on offices, shops, restaurants and other commercial doors across the Lehigh Valley.
Situations that call for new commercial locks:
- Moving into a new office or retail space
- A lock that is broken beyond repair
- Damage from a break-in or an attempt
- A lost or stolen key on a lock that can’t be rekeyed
- An upgrade to heavier-duty hardware
We fit the lock to the door and frame, check that it latches and locks without forcing, and hand over the keys once everything has been tested.

New locks or a rekey?
New locks aren’t always the answer. If the hardware is sound and the concern is who holds keys, a commercial lock rekey keeps your locks and changes the keys. We’ll look at what’s on the door and tell you which makes sense.
For buildings where different people need different levels of access, ask about a master key system when the new locks go in, since that is the easiest time to set one up.
Types of commercial locks we install
Most interior office doors take a cylindrical lever lock. Heavier doors and older buildings often have mortise locks, which sit in a pocket cut into the door edge. Glass and aluminum storefront doors use narrow locks made for that frame.
On top of those we fit deadbolts, keypad locks and high-security cylinders. Commercial hardware is graded for how much use it can take, and we match the grade to the door’s traffic. A lock built for a closet won’t last on a main entrance.
