Honda motorcycle key replacement, made where the bike is
Lost the only key to a Honda motorcycle? We come to the bike and make a replacement on site, so it doesn’t have to be trailered to a dealer. That covers keys lost outright and keys that snapped off in the ignition, seat lock or gas cap.
Have the model and year ready when you call. Some newer Hondas use a chip in the key (Honda calls the system HISS), and those need programming as well as cutting. We make those too. Call with the year, make and model for availability.
We need a driver’s license and a document that ties you to the bike, such as the registration, insurance card or title.
Call (484) 891-1922. We’ll go over our pricing structure and give you an estimated arrival time, with no extra charge for an emergency. For other makes, see our motorcycle locksmith page.

Honda Motorcycle Models We Make Keys For
These are the Honda bikes we are asked about most. For another model, call with the year, make and model for availability.
Models
Gold Wing, Shadow, Rebel, CBR600RR, CBR1000RR, CB500, VTX, Fury, Africa Twin, Grom, and the Ruckus and Metropolitan scooters.
If you have the key code
Honda key codes are often on a small metal tag that came with the original keys. If you still have it, read the code to us when you call. Without it, we read the cuts from one of the bike’s locks.
Honda Motorcycle Key Questions
Does my Honda have a chip key?
Most don’t. Most Hondas sold in the US use a plain cut key. The few with the HISS immobilizer need a key that is programmed as well as cut, and we make those too. Call with the year, make and model for availability.
Will one key work the ignition, seat and gas cap?
On most Hondas, yes. One key fits every lock on the bike, and we try it in each one before we leave. If a lock was swapped at some point it may take its own key, and we’ll tell you if we find that.
Can you copy my Honda key before I lose it?
Yes. With a working key we copy the cut on the spot, and a spare kept at home saves a lost-key call later.
My key is worn and sticks in the ignition. Will a new one help?
Often. A copy of a worn key copies the wear too, so we cut the new key to the original code. If the ignition itself is worn, we’ll tell you what we find.
