From Emmaus to Easton, Halloween is coming to the Lehigh Valley and trick-or-treaters will be out and about throughout the towns. Here are a few tips to stay safe!
Since this time of year also coincides with earlier sunsets, it’s important to take a minute and remember to be cautious while driving this time of year.
- Be sure to get some reflective tape for your child’s trick-or-treat bag or costume. It’s an easy way to be seen and won’t take away from the aesthetic.
- Traveling in groups is smart. There’s safety in numbers, but remember to bring an adult.
- When driving, be sure to come to a full and complete stop at all stop signs. I think it’s safe to say we’ve all rolled through a stop sign in our day. When kids see a stop sign, they expect cars to stop.
- Be sure to balance some of that candy with some healthy snacks as well!
Be safe out there, Lehigh Valley
