A spare key is cheaper than a lockout. We cut copies of house keys, business keys, car keys and fobs, and we do it where you are, so there is no trip to a hardware store counter and no waiting on a kiosk that may or may not get the cut right.
Bring us the key you have and we copy it on the spot. If the original is worn, we cut from the lock’s code instead of tracing a tired key, so the copy works the way the key did when it was new.
House keys, mailbox keys, padlock keys, gate keys, office keys and car keys are all everyday work for us. Keys stamped “Do Not Duplicate” can be copied for the person who owns the lock, and restricted keys are copied only with the approval of the key holder on file.
Not sure what you have? Send a photo when you call or read the stamping out to us. We’ll tell you if it’s a plain cut, a transponder key that needs programming, a remote head key or a fob.
How we copy a key
A standard house or business key takes a few minutes. We check the copy against the original on a gauge, then test it in your lock before we leave, because a key that works on the bench and sticks in the door is no use to you.
Car keys are a different job. Most keys made after the late 1990s carry a chip, and the copy has to be programmed to your car as well as cut. We do both at the vehicle. See car key replacement for the makes we cover.
When a copy is not the answer
If the key is worn or bent, or was cut from another copy, we cut a fresh key from the lock’s code rather than duplicate the wear. If you’ve lost every key, that is a replacement rather than a copy, and for a house lock it is often cheaper to rekey the lock and hand you new keys. We’ll tell you which one you need before any work starts.
What a copy costs
A plain metal key is the least expensive thing we do. Chipped car keys and fobs cost more because of the programming, and we’ll quote that from the year, make and model when you call. Our pricing structure is the same during all of our hours of operation: a key cut at 11 AM costs the same as a key cut at 8 PM.
Landlords and property managers can have a set of keys cut per unit, keyed alike where the locks allow it. For a shop or office with restricted keys, see commercial locksmith services.
Call (484) 891-1922 with the type of key you have. We come to you anywhere in the Lehigh Valley, Easton to Kutztown, and most copies are finished on the same visit.

Key duplication questions
Can you copy a key marked Do Not Duplicate?
Yes, for the owner of the lock. The stamp is a request, not a law, except on patented restricted keys, which we copy only for the authorized holder.
Do you need the original key?
For a copy, yes. Without any key we can still help: we cut a new key to the lock, or rekey it and give you fresh keys.
Can you copy my car key without the dealer?
For most makes, yes, and we do it at your car rather than at a dealership. Have the year, make and model ready and call for pricing and availability.
What is guaranteed?
Keys are guaranteed against factory defects and our cutting against faulty craftsmanship. If a copy does not turn your lock, we make it right.
