Newer Jeep vehicles that are being made now come with high security keys. These keys no longer have the traditional cuts on the top and bottom like traditional keys. The cuts are precision milled from the outer edge of the key forming a track the internal components of your car’s locks use to allow the lock to turn with that key.  As a result of these new cuts, these keys can no longer be made with traditional key cutting equipment. They now require a special high security key cutting machine that can make the correct and proper cuts. To better assist our customers, all of our automotive locksmith vehicles now come fully equipped with the proper cutters and key programmers to help replace your car keys.

Lost/stolen Car Key Replacement

If your key has gone missing, we will have a replacement car key in stock and ready to be delivered to replace your missing car key.  Most Jeep models made after the year 1998 now come with an extra layer of security called an immobilizer. This allows for your car to communicate with a special chip that is inside the car key. The car key will need to respond with a recognized code in the car or the car will not start if the key turns in the ignition.

When programing you a replacement new car key, we can erase the old key which will prevent anyone from being able to use your old car key if they have found it. An additional layer of security can be added if desired to your car door locks.  We can change the wafers inside the door locks which prevents the old key from being able to turn in the locks.

Broken Car Key Replacement

If you have a broken key to your Jeep, we will use the components of that key to correctly identify the correct cuts for your replacement car key, making it faster for us to recognize the cuts for your own car key, and saving the extra expense of ordering the code from our database.
