Ford Key Replacement for Cars and Trucks
Ford is one of the makes we make keys for most often. F-150, Escape, Explorer, Focus, Fusion, Mustang: we stock keys and fobs for most of them and program them at the vehicle. It’s part of our automotive locksmith work across the Lehigh Valley.
You call, we ask a few questions about the vehicle, and a locksmith drives to you with the right key. Nothing gets towed.
Ford keys have changed over time. Older ones are a simple edge-cut blade with a chip in the head. Newer ones are laser cut along the side, and many recent Fords use a push-button fob that Ford calls Intelligent Access.
Each type takes different equipment. Our van has a standard cutter, a high-security cutter and the programmer, so one visit covers it.

Lost or Stolen Ford Keys
Ford’s anti-theft system is called SecuriLock, and most Fords since the late 1990s have it. The car looks for a coded chip in the key and won’t start without it. When all keys are lost, we cut a new key and program it into the system on site.
If a key was stolen, we can erase the old keys and program only the ones you have in hand. We can also rekey the door locks to stop the old blade from opening them.
Broken Ford Keys
Hold on to a broken Ford key. We copy the cuts from the pieces, and that’s quicker than decoding the lock. If the key broke off in the ignition, we remove it and check the cylinder while we’re there. Worn Ford ignitions are a common cause of snapped keys, and we do ignition repair on site.
For pricing and availability, call (484) 891-1922 with the year, make and model. Tell us where the vehicle is and we’ll estimate when we can be there. We work throughout Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton, and in towns like Slatington and Walnutport.
